Almost all agencies and businesses, and even homes, deploy computer networks to provide needed and effective interconnection of their staffs, programs and processes. Our CISCO Networking Academy trains participants, with both classroom and hands-on/lab experiences, to support and maintain these complex networks. This program leads to acquisition of CCNA (CISCO Certified Network Associate) certifications — among the most in-demand in the industry. This CCNA certification will open doors to entry level employment as network administrator, network designer or network engineer positions at large enterprises. This program is taught in partnership with Cisco Systems, Incorporated by Network Academy certified instructors.
The program includes three foundational classes:
- CCNA Introduction to Networks
- CCNA Switching, Routing and Wireless Essentials
- CCNA Enterprise Networking Security and Automation
Within these foundational classes, participants will learn and develop:
- Networking
- Security
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Configure and troubleshoot connectivity in a small network and implementation of best practices
- Understand virtualization, SDN (Software Defined Networking) and APIs
There is no cost to the participants for this program or for materials or equipment use. Remote/distance learning options are available.
