Financial Literacy

Many entering the workforce lack financial knowledge.  This program, led by banking industry advisors, equips participants for personal and business finance.  The subjects addressed include:

  • Effective use of money to achieve goals
  • Financial planning: budgeting, savings, spending, giving
  • Optimal banking, credit and savings use
  • Good credit’s significance
  • Tackling financial challenges

Financial Literacy may be taken as a stand-alone class.  It is also included as part of FTC’s Jobs for Life and Powered for Life classes.

There is no cost to the participants for this program or for materials.
