Adult Literacy

Forward Training Center’s Adult Literacy program provides personalized instruction designed to enhance participant’s reading, writing and English language skills. The program aims to boost confidence, improve language proficiency, and prepare for the High School Equivalency exam. It operates in partnership with the Hood County Library and the Denton Independent School District. FTC facilitates enrollment in these classes.

Two courses are offered:

High School Equivalency Diploma
English as a Second Language (basic and advanced)

Registration with the Denton Independent School District is required for either or both courses.

This individualized reading and writing training is provided on an as needed basis.

There is no cost to the participants for these programs or for materials.

PRAY FOR FTC

The single, most important way you can help Forward Training Center is by praying for us – our leaders, our volunteers and our students. Ask God to give our staff and volunteers wisdom and ability to minister well to our students. Ask Him to give our students understanding of what is being taught and to build their confidence. Ask Him to provide for FTC financially.
