About FTC

WHO WE ARE – WHAT WE DO – and WHY

Who – Forward Training Center of Hood County (FTC) in Granbury, Texas serves the people of Hood County – a rural community with many under-served people who may not know that they are valuable. Generational poverty plagues our County.  We are committed to reversing this through education and training.  FTC has a reputation as a reliable community agency serving primarily low- and middle-income people of all ages, races, religions, and backgrounds. We have been providing this service since 2003 and have helped thousands of people. We impact the community by offering free job- and life-skills training to prepare people for productive employment.

We partner with local churches and other non-profits to help people become gainfully employed.  Please take 2½ minutes to view and consider the Flip the List video.

FTC IS NOT IN THIS ALONE

Hood County is blessed to have many agencies and organizations that minister to the same people we do.  We work together with many of these agencies and organizations to provide our students with the help they need without duplicating the services offered by others.  Click here for a list of organizations and agencies we cooperate with to best minister to our students.
